ABOUT US
This organization, formed in 2007, is the developmental program for the Franklin High School Dance program and coordinated by our booster club, Franklin Dance, LTD.
The season begins in June and runs through January.
The program was started by Sarah Heinevetter. Coach Heinevetter is the current FHS Dance Team head coach and a former member of the Middle Tennessee State University, FHS and Young Dance Academy competitive programs. Youth team coaches are all previous alum of the Franklin Dance Program and have a combined total of 34 State Championships as coaches.
The Franklin High School and Development Program Teams have collectively won 62 State Championships.
These teams, for students entering grades 1st through 8th, are the developmental teams for the Franklin High School dance program. The teams offer a great opportunity for those planning to "tryout" for their high school dance team who want to gain confidence in competing and improve their pom and dance technique. These teams will join the nationally ranked Franklin High School Dance Team in competitions and events throughout the season.
