REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE SABER SHOWDOWN!!!!

SCHEDULE/AWARDS

 

Schedule will be released in October.

Sessions may change from previous years due to capacity. Plan on All-Star and lower elementary in the morning. 

Upper Elementary and Middle in the afternoon.

High School in the late afternoon/evening.

We will be having a normal awards ceremony where we will be awarding the top 3 in each division and will announce the Showdown Finalists. If your team is announced as a Showdown Finalist, you will have around 20 minutes to change and recompete for the Showdown Champion Title! Showdown Finalists will be the top scoring Pom, Kick, Jazz, and Hip Hop routine from each session regardless of division size. If your team is not announced as a Showdown Finalist, we will have score sheets available to you in case you want to leave right away. Otherwise, we welcome everyone to stay and watch! 

 

Judges' score sheets will be given to each team at the end of their awards ceremony. You can find the overall tallies and breakdowns in the awards google folder shortly after the awards of each session.

*All Star Teams will not participate in a Showdown, but will still recieve plaques for the highest scoring routines!*

 

ROUTINE SUBMISSIONS

Solos/Duets/Trios/Small Groups will upload your videos to the google folder that will be emailed to you. You have until Wednesday, October 29th to upload the routine video to your assigned google folder. Videos should be labeled like this:

 

Team Name - Category - Names of Participant/s

Example: Franklin High School - Duet - Sarah Heinevetter and Jim Ward

 

Score sheets for solos/duets/trios/small groups will be given to you on Saturday at your awards ceremony in your team folder. We will be announcing the top 20 high school solo winners, top 10 middle school solo winners, and top 3 duets/trios/small groups during the awards ceremony on Saturday. 

 

MUSIC SUBMISSIONS

Music should be emailed by Wednesday, October 29th. If you make any changes to your music after Wednesday, you will need to bring a phone to play the music off of. The subject line of your email should like this:

 

Team Name - Division - Category

Example: Franklin High School - Division 1 - Pom

DJ email TBD. Will update when available.

 

APPAREL ORDERS

Apparel ordering will open in September! 

We will distribute the orders to your team at check-in the day of the competition.

We will have a small selection of items for sale the day of.

 

LOGISTICS

Every team will be checking in through the back entrance and spectators will enter through the main, front entrance (please reference the MAP).

Entry is $8 per person for those spectators 3 years and older. Once sessions are finalized, we will announce door opening times.

Each team will be assigned a classroom that they must clear out as soon as their session is finished! 

CONCESSIONS

We are excited to be offering a variety of concession options throughout the day. Milwaukee Pretzel Company, Domino's Pizza, and Cousins Subs will be serving meal items. Maui Wowi will be selling beverages throughout the day in addition to our concession stand options of bagels, muffins, granola bars, candy, chips, beverages, etc.

 

 

COACH'S LOUNGE

Enjoy the COACH'S ONLY LOUNGE! The coaches only room will be right off of the gym in room D108. There you can find soda, water, coffee, and an assortment of treats/meals so you can skip the concessions line. It is also a place to hang with other coaches and relax in a quiet space.
